Kathmandu

Swayambhunath

Established by King Manadeva, Swayambhunath is one of the oldest religious sites in Nepal and has over the centuries, been a significant centre for both Buddhist and Hindu practices. Attracting devotees and pilgrims from various regions, who have contributed to its cultural and spiritual importance and producing a beautiful blend of ancient religious symbolism and architecture.
